Just a quick question, will the LST's coils fit the diablo 2? They both use the 4 pin connection and wide scan coil. But I'm confused about the HOT part of the equation. It would be great to find out, thank you.

No they won't work the hot coils only work on LBST,Tejon,Vaquero,Cibola.

Yuo may want to call Tesoro to see if any of the current coils will work on the Diablo. It's possible some might work just fine.
 
I believe several of the earlier models like the Diablo have the male connection and female connection reversed compared to the current models so you end up trying to put the same plug on the cord into the same plug on the detector, plus there's some differences in the frequency that don't match.
