i was givin permission to hunt a old underground railway, it was said to help the slaves during the civil war era, the house is tore down and now its a plowed field, what should i do coin and jewlery or relic mode i really dont know what ill find but im excited to have this chance thanks bryan
 
I think I would use the relic mode..Less discrimination.
You may find some slave tags in that area. Some are valuable.
 
If it were me.................Definitely Relic Mode. Crank the "gain" up to about 8 or so and if you want to dig everything....Turn the "duel control" to about 2 and dig all HIGH tone signals and even those faint high tone bleeps. Don't forget to have that underneath trigger in the forward position. That sounds like one heck of a great place to hunt. Good luck and we're here to help! HH to all, Nancy

Relic mode, trigger forward. Crank it up to what the ground will allow. No discrimination and dig it all. Good luck. JMHO. HH Dennis in Idaho
