Need some advice on a new battery charger

The original charger that came with my Excalibur about ten years ago finally quit working. It puts out 15 volts at 150 milliamps which will charge my 1700 mah battery pack in 16 hours. The new Minelab chargers only put out 60 milliamps. That would take about 40 hours to charge the 1700 mah pack. 40 hours is unacceptable to me. Can anyone suggest a source for a good charger?
