For those of you who find gold jewelry..does it EVER come up gold/ring..or from what i hear anywhere between nickel/pulltab all the way up to penny. Basically, if i'm not digging pull tabs i'm leaving jewelry? What about the silver? When i tested it in my yard..for the most part silver coins showed up as coins..what about silver jewelry? Same as gold..nickel all the way up to penny?

From my experience, the higher "k" gold average size ring tends to show up around the pull tab area. Gold tends to have a softer, sound in all directions compared to say a square pull tab. The older round, beaver tail pulltabs tend to mimic a gold ring, especially if the beaver tail has been removed. Lower "K" average sized gold rings are sometimes found in the coin area. But it depends what a gold ring is amalgamized with. So....if you don't dig your pennies, you miss gold and silver rings. Tiny, thin gold rings can end up in the foil range.

So, to increase your gold ring finds, search areas where gold rings are more prevalent, such as various sports fields, school areas and near/in water. Dig all coins and all pulltabs signals. Use your pro Pointer to locate the target or at least learn pin pointing technique well. Use your digger only for deep targets. Get in the habbit of using a screwdriver to pop your finds out of the ground. It is at least 3 x as fast as using a digger and leaves no plug to return to the grass. You wont have any problems with landowners either using this method. The more targets you find per hour.........the more rings you will find. My system of getting more rings WORKS! It's been tried and proven. :)

Wow!! Thanks a lot John! That ring count is amazing!! You use the At Pro, right?

When you hunt lakes and beaches are there certain areas that produce best? Closer to the water? Further up like where you see people lying out on towels and such? what about around lakes? around the bleachers at sporting complexs? HAHA sorry to hit you with so many questions but you seem to be the ring king!!! is the stock coil on the 1350 able to search in water?

Anyone who finds rings/jewelry chime in please..doesn't have to be John!!

Hi
I would like to hear from someone about the garrett 1350. I just sold my minelab explorer Xs and wanted to try the garrett 1350. My main concern, is it user freindly? It took a long time to master the minelab. I dont want to go threw that again.

thks dick,

Digginit i've only been using the 1350 for a few weeks and for coin shooting it's awesome!!! turn it on and go..the target sizing lets you know if it's coin size before you dig!!
