Need price opinion on 6000 DI Pro

jabbo

New member
Saw one for $175. Blue box, meter on handgrip. I have other detectors, not Whites. Is this one worth the price. Thanks in advance. Dave

Depends on which other detectors you have? What chu got? That price is cheap for what you get for sure. (Test the coil well.)

Have Cortes, CZ7a Pro, Cz20. Don't really need the 6000, but I thought the price was low. However, didn't hear from the seller yet, maybe it was sold.

I swung a 6000 Di Pro for a number of years and that machine did me well - sure miss swinging it - miss that analog meter at times. Never had a problem with it. The meter and knobs had that cool factor.

I'm not familiar with Fisher Detectors. So I did a quick look see and I think, for that kind of money, the 6000 Di Pro would be a good purchase for you. It is the older style so it isn't as ergonomic as Whites newer models... killer balance and feel day got...but it's decent. (Huge respect, in the industry, for that machine.) If you can get it for that...I'd go for it. Good luck on the guy still having it!
