Need Manual for XS2aPro

Cherry Picker

New member
I just traded for a Sovereign XS2aPro and need a manual. My first venture into the land of the Sovereign.
Any Ideas where I can get a copy of the manual?

Download the Elite manual from Minelab's site. The only different control will be the additional band switch on the Elite.
The knobs are in different locations between the two, but otherwise they work the same.

Let us know what kind of battery system you have. It's important if you have a ni-cd.

These are listed in the price list I have yet for $6.95 retail from Minelab that any dealer can get for you, or I can too. The Sovereigns are very basic to set up and used and any one of us can give you tips if you need them.
Being you are new to the Sovereigns turn the volume all the way, the disc at around the 10 o'clock position and notch all the way counterclockwise, Sensitivity all the way counter clockwise too until it clicks into auto as it will be easier to use as the threshold will be smoother. Set the one toggle to multi tones as this is what makes the Sovereign what it is. Now set the threshold to a slight hum in disc or all metal pinpoint. Hunt in disc and go slow and listen to all the tones and if you have a meter look at the numbers and try to get them to read as high as you can and lock on as that will be the ID of the target.
Takes some time and patience, but it will be worth it in the end when you learn it.

If you need a owners manual give me a E Mail and i will put one on my next order.

I am buying one that I have used and it is a nice machine. i already have an EXCALIBUR and the XS2A PRO is impressive. so far the depth may be better but I got good strong signals on some extremely small stuff, I am not used to things falling through the scoop so often. good luck with it.
