The object I have in question would be the large iron object in center of pic with oval hole. Is this a tent tie down? Seems like I saw this in a picture somewhere that had rope going through it. Can anyone ID please?
All these finds were found at an Indian hut next to a river. Items include a neat small indian point,broken pottery,a stem from an old smoke pipe,pink glass,harmonica pieces,rivet,melted lead and a beautiful 1876 seated dime!
