Need input on a Canon lens

I picked up a used Canon lens for my 20D awhile back; got it pretty cheap.

It's a EF 35-80mm Zoom.

I'm not a lens expert, but looking at it, it looks to be of about the same quality of the intro lens offered by Canon for the 20D- a decent lens, but not of the highest quality.

Anyone have any input on this lens? Thanks.
