Need INPUT on 2 Whites machines!!!

Hey all,
Yesterday I answered an add for 2 Whites machines off of Craigslist. The Price was
$50.00 a machine. I bought both.The 1rst one is a Coinmaster 5900/Di Professional Series
blue box detector in very nice shape. The other is a Coinmaster 5000/D Series 3 blue box
detector also in nice shape. No manuals but will go to Whites website for them. Just looking
for feedback or tips on these machines. Is the 5900/Di comparable to the 5900 XL black boxes
or no? I saw a video last night on the 5900/Di and it actually looked very impressive. Could
not find a vid. on the 5000/D series 3 though. These units appear to be almost identical
except for the analog screen. Anyway just looking to hear input on these units from some of
you guys that have used them over the years. Things I'd like to hear would be depth, separation
in high trash,do these machines mask alot? Any input is greatly appreciated and maybe tips
on how some of you guys set them up for maximum results... Thanks for your time.
This makes 5 whites machines in my arsenal. Love vintage detectors that can hold
their own with the Big Dogs!!!

Those machines if they aren't broken are some of the whites machines that took all of thesilver out of the ground in years past in my opinion you have got yourself a great deal HH JIM

Never have used one of these type of machines but saw what I
thought was a very impressive video on the 5900 di blue box.
Will definetly use this baby at the big park down the street.
I just love trying out many detectors but have my favorites for those
Special sites!!! What a GREAT HOBBY and many GREAT PEOPLE!!!
I have a Whites Eagle SL 90 that I'm trying to learn and re-reading that MANUAL...
Also have a Modded IDX Pro which I love that has the 5.3 bulls-eye coil and I
feel that is some great vintage technology that still PERFORMS in high Trash!!!
Thanks again for all the input and the Loyal Whites Users...

silverseeker 2,

...I have a late model 5900 (CB) black box but I don't have a blue box version, mine has the Hot Rock Accept/ Reject and Signal Balance control. It is the deepest metal detector I have ever used, when it is well tuned with a higher Signal Balance setting and a slightly positive ground balance.
