Need Input Guys, Tough Decision Ahead

I currently have an Eagle Spectrum and a Classic IDX with full coil array that I can use with both. I'm considering a MXT as a replacement for both machines. The Eagle is a tank I know but it has the proven XLT technology and has been a great detector, but I find myself (do to time issues mostly) that 95% of the time I use the presets. The IDX on the other hand is one hell of coin shooter and has proven its self over and over. My question is can I get the best of both in the MXT and not be disappointed in performance.

Thanks Steve

Do you use the Signagraph on the Eagle Spectrum, and do you find it helpful? If you do, I think the lack of it on the MXT would be something to consider

MXT is sort of a user friendly XLT without the exact notch and tone ID features and has an array of acc. coils.......personally myself would miss the tone ID of the spectrum but not the weight.
Of course your IDX is one tone so seems like you would not not.....Excellent book out by I believe Eric Foster on getting peak performance with the MXT..
I might suggest an XLT as its sort of a light Eagle spectrum and the learning period would be short because of your knowledge of the spectrum and of course it has many more changeable facets but again your call...

I had an MXT and a modded IDX. I found the MXT far better in all ways. As far as the XLT the lack of coils might be a problem. Rob
