I have never owned a CZ, but have only heard good things about them. I did have a 1265 for a period of time. It had great depth and was easy to use. I recently purchased a CZ-5, but have not got it yet. My questions for those who have used this machine is as follows: What kind of depth can you expect on coin sized targets like a dime, penny, nickle and quarter. I know ground conditions have a lot to do with it, but I am talking ballpark figure in moderate soil. Also, I like hunting with smaller coils and was wondering how much depth I would give up if I used the 5" coil. I mostly hunt parks and freshwater beaches, but would like to use the 5" around old home sites for older coins. Any information or tips would be appreciated. "Mark"
