Need info on coils!

I am getting an SE and would like to get a smaller coil for it. I will be park hunting and dry beach hunting. I figure moderate amount of trash in no mineral ground. I am looking at the Excelerator 8 inch cc coil or the 4.5 x 7.5 2d. Now here is my thoughts on the 8 inch cc. I know most detectors discrimate better on iron with the cc coils. I have used 2d coils on some after a cc coil and ussaully the cc coil is deepper and better on iron. I have not seen any info on the 8 inch coil so I am hope for some input! Thank you,Joe

I have the 8" concentric and it I.D.s good to six inches, the double D coils are deeper and I like the 6" excelerator. I no long have the 5" or the 4X7 or joey.
