Need info on a QXT Pro...

Hi People! Can any Whites owners tell me some pro's and con's about the QXT Pro? When was manufactured and which one of today's Whites does it come closest too. It's features and coin shooting capability's etc. I need to know as much as I can as soon as possible. Thanks Everyone, Woodstock

I used one for a while and loved t. i always thought it was a slimmed down XLT. made some great finds with that machine.

The QXT Pro is the better of the two Quantum machines. It has zones for the different detecting ranges. There are several adjustments you can make to the QXT and its learning curve is very quick. The QXT came out somewhere around 1998 and White's stopped selling them shortly after the MXT came out.

I bought one for my wife back in 2000-01 and she used it until the MXT came out and we then both moved to the MXT.

The QXT is a very nice machine and I and my wife had no negative experiences with it.

2006 was the last year, great machine kind of its own animal, i ran the 2 i had in farily heavey mineralized soils, great audio harmonics, and sizing feature, they would have been nice if the disc range was expanded, a fine tune on gb and #id rather than zones, im looking for another one myself

One test I saw said that it can do 10" in the air on a quarter. Is it at least as deep as the xlt in the dirt? It has some great features no doubt.

i personally feel it is deeper than the xlt, at least deeper than my fathers xlt

Well the worm has turned !! That is!! The unit/ considered so-so at best /is now the one to chosse!! Is this the one !!!! Ah-So YESSSSSSS!!!!!! I use this unit and have found the same to be usable and true / Beach's are another story !!!
