Need ID spur ...

Found this yesterday and immediately noticed unusual wavey like body and neck on spur. Doesn't look like the usual 1859 standard issue spurs I find. Can someone help ID Make and Year for this kind of spur? Thank you.

Without being whole, it's hard to tell. Looks european circa 1840-60, but it also has a little cowboy flair (spur neck). Maybe you can find more of it and that will give me a better idea. GH, David@Dixie

Thanks Dave for the reply. The area where found, dates from early to mid 1800's. You can bet I'll try and find the other half spur. It really has my curiosity. Thanks again.

I looked all the way through Crouch's Spur book (twice) and couldn't find anything that matched this spur..... some with similarities, but no match.

The area where this was found dates only to the early to mid 1800's ????

Hmmmm.... most of the areas in my area date from much earlier.... say, uh.... to the Creation ! LOL

Sorry, I just had to!
