need id on a possible tool

Would like to know what the iron thing is. It looks like a tool. It's rounded on one side with the hook beveled and flat on the other side.

I think it could be a tree bark cutter/peeler and maybe for shingles. I don't think it's a fascine knife because the edge isn't sharp. Only the front.

Ice pick makes sense, Its bladed to jab through the ice to make a hole or just shave a block into the shape you want for summer ice storage. The hook could work for lifting a slab of ice from water, also for saving ice for summer storage. Im not sure what the common tools would have been but many people had to cut ice from ponds in the winter and saved it so they must have made tools specific for that. I assumed a saw would be a main tool used for cutting ice blocks.
