I found this piece around an old house site that dates back into the 1800's.
I'm thinking it is a rein guide of some sort, but may be incorrect.
It is bronze and has some wear marks on the inside of the loop.. the other end is a loop also, but it is bent some.
Any help is appreciated.. thanks for looking!
