Hi Found this bullet today and think it is old because the lead is whitish in color. Has no primer and no id of any kind on the casein. Was very deep about 12in down. It is 1 1/2 long and very close to 1/2 in wide .

Well it is a rim fire round.

The diameter is approximately 1/2in, correct Harryo?

Could be a Henry .44 cal. flat nose long case rifle cartridge manufactured between 1860-1934.

4th from left in this pic.

It would have to be measured with a set of calipers to get better Id. 1/2" is .50 cal. so a little less is probably in the .40 cal range. I believe they made .41 .44 .46 .50 .55 and .58 cal. rim fire but think 44s were most common. .32 cal is smaller than 3/8.
