Although they consider the UniProbe to be a "pocket" probe, it looks to me like you could connect the mount used in DetectorPro's Headhunter LANDPRO. It is advertised as having a highly accessible detachable mount directly on the searchcoil shaft! Here are a couple pics of the mount as used on the LandPro.....

I'd recommend you contact Gary Storm, owner of DetectorPro and ask him if the mounts are available for purchase. I've done quite a bit of business with Gary over the years and have found him to have excellent service and support for his products. HH Randy
