I have an EXP2 and my digging buddy just got a watter detector. I wont be going in the watter but I'm sure i will end up on the beach. I have never been on the sand, there isn't alot of sand in Richmond VA. Is there any difference in settings or any thing I should know before I go. Any help would be appreciated.

I did, This week was my fist time at beach tectin. Found out that a long handled sand scoop would have been nice to have. If you're down to the water edge the water will fill your holes faster than you can dig them. Had to leave behind some good beeps because of that. Also hade to drop the sens down to keep from falsing. Its a different game than I'm used to. A lot different than tectin in the KY hills, But still was a lot of fun and a great learnin experience. Shucks just gettin to swing the ol tector was worth it. Hope you find the Gold.
God Bless
