Just got a very used Coinmaster 6000/D white's...would like to hear some feed back and if the bigfoot coil will fit and work on it.

I think the 6000D came out in 1978...If the XL Pro is a descendant of the 6000 Series, which I think it possibly is, then the 6.5 Khz BigFoot should work on it..... Holler at Monte...
He can remember all these things, I had one but it's been so long ago and too many detectors have gone under the bridge... Have fun, Richardntn

work with the oldies, and the older coils are not compatible with today's units.

The 6000 D required a much faster sweep than the XLT or XL Pro of today, or even the final 'SL' series of 5900 & 6000 Di Pro SL's. My suggestion would be to get a newer model, such as the XL pro, and the modern coils for it.

I have never been fond of the Bigfoot coil and am not even sure if they made one for the first version of the 6000 D. Sorry I am not any help.
