I am trying to decide what the best detector is for my money. Any suggestions in the $350-$400 range for relic hunting and coin shooting?

JMHO,but I started out with the F4,great little machine, and it does sniff silver out.I found alot of goodies with it,and found it easy to work with, for being my first detector.(I still have it)..hh rick in mi.

Fisher f4 or f5. Teknetics gamma 6000, 4000. Send me an email for some good pricing on them!

The Tek Omega runs a little more, but it a pure and wonderful coin shooter and is fine for relics. I have heard good things about the F 5, too. HH jim tn

Spend just a litttle more and get the F5, a lot more long term options at your disposal as time goes along and you learn more about what you are doing--you can't beat it. Don't worry the F4 is darn good too
