Hello all you Fisher experts!!! Which older Fisher detectors, designed for coin hunting, run at a frequency of 5Khz or less and have manual ground balance? I need a detector for mineralized (ferrous oxide) ground. Only do coin hunting around old buildings - iron is mainly the trash. The 1280x looks enticing but has no manual ground balance - runs at 2.4Khz!! Much appreciated! Thanks! Dave

awsome coin detector and absolutly loves Nickles..CZ 5, Old Cz6-62...newer Cz7-7a..and I think last models made were CZ3D and Cz 70 models..

It seems to me Fisher had an Old Model at 3KHZ..which reminds me Xterra 70 has seperate coils 3KHZ 7.5 KHZ and 18.5 KHZ... so if you want a true lower than 5 look at the Xterra 70 or Xterra 705
