It's beautiful, but don't have a clue as to what religion, meaning, etc. Maybe on the "Whatz It" forum here on Findmall would get you some answers. HH to all, Nancy

It a Celtic cross. Its Christian

The ringed cross has been a distinctively Celtic symbol since early Medieval times in Scotland, Ireland, Wales and those parts of Britain that were influenced by the early Celtic Church. From the 5th century onward, ring or wheel-headed crosses were carved on stone slabs and as free standing monuments. Some people say the circles represent the old pagan religion as the sun because they worshiped the sun as a god and the cross as the christian god it was a way the Celtics keep their old god and converted to Christianity. But the early priest say it represents the ever lasting life or a halo.

My ancestors trace back to the Celtic tribes in Scotland and Wales.
