need help with White's accessories working with Sovereign GT pole assembly.

I have an extra Stock Minelab Sovereign GT upper shaft. I thought I read some discussions in here speaking of using a White's heavy duty arm cup and a White's lower shaft with the Sovereign GT stock upper shaft. What modifications if any do I need to do to a White's lower fiberglass pole( does the part that connects to the coil match up?) What about spring clips on the White's lower pole matching with the GT's upper pole?
And what arm cup of White's will work with the GT's upper pole?

I want to make up a second pole assembly to use as a beach setup with the hip mount bag.
