Need help with trimpots on a 1235x

Hi there. I just picked up a 1235x which needs a bit of repair and was wondering if anyone knows which trimpots on the circuit board affect what. I might want to modify it also 'cause I hear that they are deep detectors & an external GB would be beneficial. ..Willy.
 
Your best bet is to send it in to the factory for a check-up, as they aren't high and it is a good detector. Why risk anything?
