I have found 2 of these now and cannot tell what they are. It looks like some type of spout. Found in an area where I've been pulling relics from the mid-1800's.
Help me out guys...
 
I think you are right Ant, the back half of a two part door knob.

I agree bottom half of a door knob. Most likely had a White marble insert on the top of the round handle part
