Found this today at a early 1930s house most of the things I found on the property were from 1925 - 1952 25 merc/ 52 rosie / 26,47, wheatie and a tax token 50s maybe I found this star about 3-4 inches down same depth as the coins it has the letters P E E R L E S S one letter in each triangle below each point has a slight gold color . Any Ideas of what and time frame would graciuosly be appreciated Thank you in advance HH

The star of redemption, or regeneration. The 8 pointed star has many religious significances...What your item is, is beyond me...me best guess is backing for dresser pull knob???

HH,

Got thinking about and I think I might have figured it out. Possibly a Rawl. Off off a kids spur set from the 50s.

that was gonna be my guess, from a spur.

n/t

I thought that name sounded familiar. Peerless is a manufacturer of faucets so I Googled it just to make sure. Don't know though if it's any kind of a handle.
