are you supposed to see the depth guage when switched to full screen? also battery indicator sometimes shows up while on full screen. would appreciate your help...D.

I couldnt tell you if its normal, cause I never use full screen, however I believe those icons are not supposed to appear in that mode...

No, your not supposed to see anything other than the screen and 3 thin bars. The 3 bars are next to the pinpoint, iron mask, and sreensize selector buttons. Depth or battery gauge should be seen.

Although the exp xs is one awesome machine, with the trouble I've had with this one. I have a new one on the way. I can only hope it's not a factory rebuild....D.

Nope.... I've noticed a couple of irregularities with the display on my unit as well.... and there are others out there with varying degrees of display glitches. More fodder for the Explorer-Bashers <IMG SRC="/forums/images/smile.gif" BORDER=0 ALT="

Have a great question here. Why would Kellyco send in the warranty papers for you to Minelab and then give you copies 60 to 90 days later? I e-mailed Kellyco over a week ago and the reply was "as requested by Minelab." Sure would like to look at the "warranty card" myself. Also my detector had a scratch on the electronics box and the interior of the cardboard box was torn. Makes me think it was preowned. Any comments??? Tks Mike

Same here,Sent the one in that was with the machine,3months ago,then received another from kellyco with printed serial number stickers on it.Didnt check the #'s just sent it in too..cs

Charlie, Thanks for the reply. Yet I haven't seen a (any) warranty card yet. Sure hope it wasn't a returned detector. My clues were the card, the torn interior of the box and a scratch on the electronics box. Sure hope your weather is cooperating. Good luck hunting. Mike

Hmmmm,,,kinda fishy,,toney at kellyco was the guy I dealt with,,Helpfull but not like this forum and the minellab cats.Mine was new in box,no scratches,warranty card enclosed,,however on receipt was when I first discovered the 200 buck restockin fee,,,unlike the 100% satisfaction blurb on their page,,Alll okay now that I am over some of the learnin curve, and assed up and found that 5 stone dinner ring heh heh cs
