Need help with pinpointing the Xterra 70

Hi, I just got a Xterra 70 and I am somewhat confused on the pinpointing. Where within the diameter of the coil will the target be if it is properly pinpointed? HH Dennis in Idaho

But you should check yours via airtests, just to make sure. Not a bad way to get use to the different tones either. HH Randy

I just air tested my new X-70 this morning on various targets. Haven't been in hunt conditions yet, so this applies to air test only.

The exact pinpoint on mine was just in front of where the shaft joins the coil; i.e. the back inside edge of the inner coil. Hope this helps, Dennis.

Each detector may be a bit different; I don't know:shrug:
