Need Help With My Excalibur 1000 Headphone Wire

Hello all,

I am getting a very deep, low tone from both sides, barely noticeable from my excal 1000 yellow headphones even when the volume is set high. I check the headphone cord and showing a small cut on the outer protective cord not on the inside wires, metal wires are not showing.
any help will be appreciated
 
You need to replace the coiled cord, saltwater has got into the copper wiring and caused the signal to grow weak. Corrosion. I have a video on Digginrings Excalibur headphones, very low volume...
