I found this badge made by J. K. DAVISON," a Philadelphia jeweler. Can anyone help I.D. what it might have been used for.
Thanks

Saw it resolved on another forum.

Is there a link to the other forum? I'd like to know! Looks interesting!!!

Couldn't find the other forum post. Score one for Eliteuser. It appears to be a generic version of a GAR reunion "badge worn by Union veterans and Grand Army of the Republic members ..............The hanger of the badge has a cannon tube, crossed muskets, a saber, cannon balls, and laurel leaves." The ribbon may have had the date and location.
