The bullet is white with 2 rings, new or modern?
The dime ,is it a good date?
The melted piece is hard and has the letters ING on it as melt.
found it with IRON also melted,I thought it might have been in a fire and just dumped

Hi Richard,
One place to check out coin dates is: http://www.bestcoin.com/united-states-coin-pricing-guide.htm

Not sure about the others.

You will know silver when you see it in the dirt. Your dime is a clad. Last year silver dimes were minted was 1964. Not sure on the bullet. Am thinking it is post civil war, but maybe not. Is it an old spot you are hunting? HH jim tn

Thanks William, that will help with the dates.Found another clad dime and a Pennie today.
And a Beer can at 13 inches,I knew it was a large target. When I got to it I had to make the hole larger
to get it out.If the label was facing up I may have left it in the ground, had to see it!

Yes Poestenkill NY Is Full of History setteled in 1705 I think. It is 15 miles east of Albany and 50 miles south of Lake George.
There are Old mills along the Poestenkill Creek.Im hunting the grounds at the Poestenkill Fire House about 10 achers.
The Creek runs at the rear of the property, where I found the Bullet ,Silver melt Chunk,1820 orange Gilted Button (may be British)
The clad is from the front of the property where the have car shows ,events ECT. By the way the area is surrounder by corn fields and mountains.
Google Poestenkill NY.

when you get a high tone and reading 81 or 82 raise the coil and keep swinging it over target if you loose it about 8 inches above the target dig it if it keeps responding it more than likely be a alum can smashed use the pinpoint feature as well and see when you loose audio over the target if it spreads a lot that will tell you for sure

Spudnuts11 Hi, I have no answers to your questions. The bullet has a white crust which confirms his many years, I think probably more than 100.
Thanks for sharing your hunting location. I think with their indications and Google Eart, I've located the place where you have hunted and I could walk around some of the streets of Poestenkill NY has been very well, Thanks another time
Senda
