I found this a few weeks ago and thought about posting it here since someone here maybe seen one like it or might have a good idea what it was from. The item is a Personalized Item with the Initials L P, at least that is what it appears to be. It reads 925 / 1000 and has the word Sterling around the Neck on the back. The diameter of this item is 40mm. The Neck on the back had a Small Hole on each side, like a Pin or something held this in place and this measured around 18mm in diameter. The item is about 8mm Thick (Neck is 5mm Tall which would make the entire piece around 15mm Tall) and is Hollow. It is also a 2 Piece Design and there is also some Lead that is loose inside like it was put in there for possibly weight or to hold it together. Any idea's and replies very much welcomed. Whatever the item is, it's a nice looking piece so will have to look into Cloak Clasps and possibly something will pop up like it. Thanks again for the reply and Good Luck and HH to you.:detecting:
 
I don't know what yer unit of measure is compared to inches so i could be way off.
 
Diameter is an Inch and 9/16th's and the Neck on the back is about 5/8th's of an Inch in Diameter. Hope this helps. Another great guess and would make sense also. Thanks for the reply Jim West Pa. Good Luck and HH to you.:thumbup:

It's a very neat piece and when I first seen it, I thought it was Aluminum. You just never know what a person will dig next and these types of finds just make it that much more rewarding. Thanks for the reply and Good Luck and HH to you.:thumbup:
