Need help with ID of an item I found this morning...along with a silver "Roosie" and an old button..

Got tired of washing the walls this morning ( Fall cleaning), so I took a break and went out for 3 hrs. to a near-by old beach.:clapping:

Found silver "Roosie"; 10K gold filled portion of a Bulova watch; an old button ; clads, and an item that I can't figure out what it is.

Hank thinks it might be a small pocket knife...could be

Maybe someone out there can help us on the ID :wiggle:

It has a very pretty pattern , and I am presently electrolyzing it hoping to get the stubborn iron -like adhesions off of it. The hook is movable now after an hour of so of electrolysis.

The old metal button is also being electrolyzed ....it has a pattern on the face; the back 'hook" is gone.

Here's pics ( also included the previous silver dimes now cleaned and shined; & cleaned "barnacled" bottle.

Thanks for looking

I have this knife from the early 1900's that is a pipe knife. The skinny blade is for cleaning the pipe stem and has file like teeth. The other blade is for scraping the bowl of the pipe. Mine has "Gold Top" ingraved on the loop at the top of the knife, which is a brand of tobacco from that time period. It looks a lot like yours. Oh, cool finds as always Lorraine. DC
