need help with gold signals

I have not found any gold lots of silver rings and braclets but they hit high 30s 37 38. but gold seems to be anywhere from 10 to 20 is that where it hits on everyone else i run all metal auto sense.Do I have to dig all the low numbers and dig all the trash or are is there a number that gold hits at or does it depend on 10k 14k and size. any help wold be great because i do not dig low numbers as they hit alot i beach hunt and parks and use the stock coil

I am also looking for my first gold. I can tell you that my wedding ring air tests at 13. I beach hunt when I can, and dig everything.

Here are the target ids for jewelry I've found:

Men's gold rings: 14-17
Women's small gold bands: 6-9 (with diamonds)
Women's 8 gram platinum ring: 11 (with 2ct diamonds)

Silver jewelry: 38-39

Tony - my wedding band air tests at 31. Croaky you may need to do like some of us and that's start testing gold and jewelry samples you have at home and apply those sounds/tid in the actual field,

Most gold sold out there is for women. Don't forget to test those type of rings, they will id a lot lower then a man's wedding band. I am still looking for my first gold ring as well.
