Need help with flip switch......

New member
I have an Eldorado that I'm fond of and I'd like to know if there is any sort of an extention that can be added to the... all metal/disc flip switch toggle? It is similar to the ones used on the Cibola for frequency control. I find it too short and if you flip it often enough, hard on the finger. Anyone suggest a fix for this situation? Thanx.

If you didn't want to open up the detector and wire in a larger switch you could get a rubber cover for it, I know some toggle switches I have got over the years from Radio Shack came with a rubber cover on them - it would add alittle size to the switch & make it more easy on your finger. Just a thought. Steve.

[size=medium]add a rubber boot to the present toggle switch. It makes a lot of difference, and is easier than a total switch replacement. :)
