Need Help With Coils!

I have an older Bounty Hunter Big Bud Pro Select 220 and was wanting to know if any of the newer larger coils for the Teknetics would work on it. It has a push in type connector. I would like to try one of the double-d coils on it if possible.

upgrade to a better Teknetics model. It is worth the change.

If you are really set on doing this then check out the 11"DD plug in coil for the Fisher F2 detector, which MIGHT work. However, while the Big Bud was decent in its time the internals are at a huge disadvantage compared to even a modern entry level detector. Right now dollar for dollar the Teknetics Greek series (alpha, delta, gamma, omega) are as good as any and better than most on the market, light years ahead of your Big Bud. Good luck.
