Need help with close up shots of finds

I just looked up your camera and it will focus as close as 12 cm. Not sure how many inches but I would back off until it's clear take a picture and do a major crop. That will make it look closer than it actually is.
Hope this helped... here is a web site with specks of your camera.

If you are within the focus range then either it's camera shake or there is a problem with your camera...Sorry I couldn't help.

I have no experience beyond simple disposable cameras, and would like to know where I can get reliable beginners info on cameras, multifunction printers as required. software, techniques etc. I would like to learn how to post photos on the forum and do youtube type videos as well. Thanks.
