This is a black molded connector so you can't take apart (unsolder). It only beeps ( when it's not suppose to causing false readings) when you touch the connector on the box or when swinging the detector putting pressure on the connector. If I hold the connector to stop it from moving then move the cable no beeps. Sitting still on a bench and bench testing it will react to coins beep and show id.So it has to be in the connector, but the connector and cable are no longer available from White's and because this is a molded connector I cant take it apart to re solder or cut off any frayed wire in the connector and re-solder. I know what's wrong and how to fix it, it's just that you can't take the connector apart to fix and the part's aren't available through White's. So what I need is if anyone can help me get a replacement connector or cable with the connector. I hope you can understand what I'm trying to say. any help will be appreciated. Thank you Joe
