The Excal has the following wires:

RED, BLK, WHT, YEL

The S-12 has:
RED w/shield, CLR w/shield

I am assuming RED>RED but not sure about the rest.

Can someone help please?

Thanks.

I am asking about an S-12 coil, not a WOT.

The S-12 coil has a RED w/shield, and a clear w/shield.

How does DOCS place help?

I don't understand.

thanks again.

If you read all then info on Doc's website at the link that Alaskaseeker posted and compare the information with the way the connector is wired on you S-12 you should be able to figure it out pretty easily. Doc has all the info there for Minelab iterations of the Excalibur. Part of what you need to know is how old your Excalibur is since Minelab in it's efforts to keep everyone off balance reversed the yellow and white wires on latest model Excaliburs. If you use the pin numbers of the S-12's coil connector as your basis for comparison you shouldn't have a problem.

I got it after all.

You are right about Doc's place, it does have the info, but it was a while before understood what it was saying.

What I was looking for was:

RED to RED
BLK to RED shield
YEL to CLR
WHT to CLR shield

It works!

I took pics and will do a small write up on how to do it. I just don't know who would want it, or where to post it.

I think I can post multiple pics, will need to re-size and edit, but they should all be cool.
