Need Help W/ PI-3000

I have a Whites Pi 3000 and need help, can anyone offer any?,
The head phones are damaged and need to be replaced but the rest appears to be fine, The original ones are hard wired in,
Is there anything special should know, about replacing them?

I would appreciate a copy of an owners manual as I don't know any thing about operating this unit.
I can't find any where to download one from whites. What is the "PP" setting for?
