Any help would be great. It's not magnetic and rings a solid 86 on my f75 ltd. Thank you. C t tom

Right click and open paint you change the % to what you want. That is how I do it hope this helps.

Are you sure it is a rock?
At first I thought cannon ball but I'm almost positive it cannot be iron if it's the size of a tennis ball and iron is magnetic. This one only weighs 8 lbs and is much larger than a tennis ball.....

But if it is actually the size of a tennis ball, 2.5 to 2.7 inches(I calculated 2.75 inches to be generous), and made of iron(cannon ball) it would only weigh 2.75 lbs.

If it were 2.75 inches and made of LEAD it would still only weigh 4.47 lbs.

Let me be a bit more generous and say its more like 3.6 inches and made of LEAD it would weigh 10.03 lbs.

If it were a cannon ball(iron), it would have to be 4.25 inches in order to weigh 10 lbs. That is the width of TWO tennis balls side by side! If your measurement is even somewhat close, it is almost certainly not iron, most likely lead.

Could you get a more accurate measurement? And a precise weight? With both measurements I could determine the likely metal content assuming it is relatively pure.

A ball bearing 2.75 inches, which is larger than a tennis ball, made of stainless steel(heaviest of the options) would only weigh 3.18 lbs.

Go to microsoft.com and look in downloads.....Look for picture resizer......Download it and you ready to go. Works great!

Hi Tom.

This is how to resize photos using Microsoft Paint with the Display/Monitor Settings at 800x600 pixels if the computers Display Settings are set at 1024x768 the value numbers in instructions number 11 will be higher by a hundred or two because if you don't the picture area will be too small. This is not the only way but the easy way, let us know it works:

1)First you need to name and save the photo to your PC, the easiest way to learn is to save the photo to My Recent Documents or My Documents.

2)Then open Microsoft Paint.

3)When MS Paint opens you should be able to see a tool box menu on the left, if you don

Geez,
Right click photo, go to edit, then resize.
Resize it to at least 50%, maybe 40%.
Save as. Give it a name and pick the folder you can find it in.
Very simple.

Its on my lap top, its the same OS as my desk top, and the ignorant one is you.
Figure out your own OS before you make a statement like that.
This is the exact way I resize photos, been doing it for the past couple of years. Its about a 5 step process, the man doesn't need an entire page on how to resize a simple photo.

Oh a laptop, lol, brilliant response.
Normally when people have this issue it is with uploading photos that where taken with a device that the settings were to great for uploading to most forums. The aspects are the issue using Windows, not the photo size per say, and if using Windows 9 an app is needed to upload to forums. Anyway you just proved yourself, lol. I'm done with this thread, you can highjack the last response.

Hate to tell you this Ant, but you actually proved yourself to be someone that doesn't know what he's spouting. CYA.

Got a geiger counter?

Where did you find this"Canon Ball"?
It looks to be about the right size for the weight to be lead, steel would be lighter.
When I use to commercial fish we had downline weights that looked like that and we called then canon balls. they also had a brass/ bronze loop for attachment to the down line.
Are there any signs of a loop protruded out of it? or what appears to be an area where one may have been?

Right click the file. Choose send to email receipient. Send it to your self. Copy to desk top or where ever it is easy to find. Should be the right size.
