NEED HELP TO ID THIS BUTTON

Hi All,

I found this button last Sat. 12/17 in historic park....I have done a lot of research to try an ID this button, I've not been successful.
The button measures 1" diameter; 2 part silver; back mark: D.Evans & Co. Attleboro,MA
Front of button is a "fouled" anchor with 2 stars on each side of anchor....could it be a Colonial Naval button?

Tried to find it for you but, as other poster said without a picture it is hard to determine.
I did find this out for you.
From what I read D. Evans took over R&W Robinson company ca 1848.

If you look hard enough you will track it down so, best of luck!
