I have been looking at the F5 detector and the GTI 1500,I had the GTI 1500 before it was a good detector,
and it had good depth,Im looking to get back on land tyred of the water,so witch way should i go??????

I've had both and prefer the F 5. I think it goes deeper, is lighter and has a better interface with the exterior knobs. The advantage the Garrett has is more available coils, at this time, plus you can use a Sun Ray in line probe with it. You decide what's important to you. I feel I've found more with the F 5, personally, and after all, isn't that what we all are looking for?

keep on diggin'

THANKS 4 THE INFO>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Typical Prizm perfomance and the battery pack requires a slam to lock and load it.

Key words in the very wordy review was that newcomers would like it and that it needs a small coil to achieve its potential.

If you want a whites machine, check out the M6. Not as many features but the performance is better.

I ordered my F5 from Mr. Bill today !
