Finally got out for the first time with my new Deleon at a school up the street. walked around finding lots of good hit reads silver 95 id. 8 inches so i decided to dig a few having troubles pin pointing targets to the centre of the coil. So all you guys & girls out their that use the D, how do i hone in on that target what do you recommend?

John, I'm not sure exactly what problems are you having ...
BUT.
If you are getting too wide a signal you could try to lift your coil up somewhat.
This would "shrink" the signal to more of a point.
Then while looking through the hole in the center of the coil,
at the same time remember a leaf, pebble or whatever is in the coils center hole ~ at the moment the signal sounds off.
This would/should be the targets center, the point under which the target will be.

I hope this helps.:detecting:

Thanks Snowy for your response, I tried the D at a different location and was having the same problem. When I set the disc to knock out iron up to zinc or max ( air test) this works fine. As soon as i put it to the ground to start my hunt the D goes nuts I just move it slightly or place the coil on the ground and give it a little shake goes nuts constantly reads Coin depth 8-9 ID 95. Checked my connections my batteries looks fine to me.

John, something about your situation seems a bit odd...

Are there any other Tesoro guys in your area, or a local MD club?

Almost kinda seems to me like it would be most helpful...
