Need help locating an Excal 1000 double A battery pack

I have a double A battery pod for the Excal 1000 that I use for a back up but the battery pack that holds the 8 batteries inside the pod is shot. Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find one. I would appreciate any help!

Did you try Radio Shack? Seems to me I might have seen one that looks like it might work. They have a couple different sizes. Wish I'd of read this earlier, was just next to one a little while ago. Would of checked for you. Check they're website. Joe

Blink, I was advised by SonnyFl. several yrs. ago, that he and members of his Florida Club, had their OLD Rechargible Battery Pods REBUILT by their local BATTERIES PLUS Store!
If you don't know where one is do a Google Search, and then Contact THEM, and they can rebuild your Old Rechargable!! Best of LUCK, Les Robinson.

I checked Radio Shack and they had just what I wanted. If you use the Excal much and ever need a rechargable battery pack check out www.onlybatterypacks.com if you haven't already. They run about 32 bucks but their made for the Excals. I replaced mine a couple of years and it's still going strong.
