Need help indentying two finds from the same location, other finds from this same area were pistol balls, powder flask tops, half of a gold plated pocket watch stuff from that era but these two are a mystery.

Is the larger piece from a musket rifle? The bird from a military hat?

Sorry the pics upside down, and both finds are quarter size.
