Need help in adjusting my Troy X3..............................

Ivan

New member
What I'd like to do is fine tune the disc level on my Troy X3. There is a "target check" switch that you flip up or down. The "down" rejection point is nickel. The "up" rejection point is labeled zinc. What I would like to do is adjust and fine tune the upward "zinc" disc level. Is it possible to do this? I'm willing to try if someone can give me some direction......................thanks.

From what I remember there is nine trimmers on the circuit board none of which are marked. If you damage anything there's no source for spares so its a bit risky.
I wonder if Dave Johnson could tell you. I think the Shadows were one of the many detectors he helped develop. I should have his e-mail address, I'll have a look.
