Need Help ID'ing this Item/Button

Hi Everyone,

Got out for a couple hours today and was trying to dig a lot of nickel signals. Found this today about 5 inches down. It rang up like a nickel, which was surprising until I got home and cleaned off the back and it looks like possibly gilded. I don't know what the front says of what this is from.

If anyone knows anything about this - what it is from, age, etc. I would really appreciate the info. I am always lost when it comes to ID'ing buttons.

Thanks!

go to Google

type in words. Click search. Then click images on left hand side of screen. Would do it for you but can't quite read the writing

LOL, thanks Ringo853. I did try that but nothing came up for me. Was hoping that someone would recognize the image.

I don't know what it is but I'm pretty sure it's half of a two piece button. Should be old. Nice find.

Don't you just love the head scratchers in this hobby? If only some of these things could talk!
