Need help ID'ing a spur

Spent a couple hours after work at a church that has yeilded some pretty nice finds in the past. Managed to find several clad, 3 wheaties 1940,1919,1917 and a couple fired 3 ringers. My last find was a dandy, found this spur a good 9" deep! Too bad it's bent and missing one side but I'm happy to find it anyway. Maybe you can't tell from the pic but anybody know from the looks of it what kind of spur it might be. Might be a Federal officers common type, all smooth. All I can say is I looked all over for any markings and found none. This area I'm hunting was filled with Union troops during the Civil War, they camped here in the winter of 1862. If anyone can ID that spur for me I'd appreciate it. Thanks, and have a great week.
